The City of Sydney runs two very different parking schemes. Knowing which one applies is half the battle, so here is the honest version.
The lawful way to hold the kerb
- Removal trucks are eligible, the City states a removalist truck (under 4.5t) can use a visitor permit.
- $23 for a book of 10 single-use permits ($11 with a pensioner concession); up to 50 a household per year.
- Single-use, scratch-off, you scratch the date and display it on the truck for the day.
- Apply online with two address documents; allow about 5 working days to process.
